I can’t believe Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is coming soon. Time surely does fly! This year’s Christmas shopping started early for me since I was far from prepared last year. I didn’t want to get caught slipping two years in a row so it was early October when I started buying small trinkets for others and yesterday I bought the last of what I plan to give to others (#FeelingMightyAccomplished).
On another note, let’s talk what I want for Christmas… I can only think of four things. Times have surely changed because I used to have a list of 10+ items that I wanted, but now I have a select few things that I feel are “needed” because they’d make my life better. Dramatic much?
Here are the gifts I want under my tree:
Vlogging Camera
I enjoy watching vlogs and the one vlog I’ve done has been my most successful YouTube video to date. This makes me want to vlog more. I don’t upload videos often but (in my mind) that’s because I don’t have a small camera that can fit in my purse while I’m on-the-go. I want one that takes great quality videos and pictures. It’d be nice to be able to change the lens but it’s not mandatory. I’ve been wanting the Sony a5100 (pictured) but it stays sold out so the newer model (a6000) may be better, but the expensive price has kept me researching for months. Maybe that’s a sign that I don’t need to spend over $500 on another camera and I can get the Sony Alpha a5000 for cheaper.
Nike Prestos
I currently have one pair of Prestos that are easily my favorite pair of sneakers to wear out. They’re in a cute blue color, but I want some all black ones. I’d wear them pretty much every day so that makes the $130 price tag well worth it, right?! The maroon ones are beyond cute too, but I don’t want to be greedy so tell Santa I’m only requesting one pair.
Mermaid Tail Blanket
I’ll be honest. As I’m typing, I’m laying under a throw blanket on my couch that I’m absolutely satisfied with but it doesn’t make me feel like a princess. A mermaid tail blanket, on the other hand, would do just that. Like how friggin cute are they? They come in various colors, but the navy and blue (N5) ones are the cutest. They’re available on Amazon for about $30.
Gift Cards
Who doesn’t love gift cards? Amazon, Target, Nike, Sephora… You name it! Gift cards to these places would help me get the gifts I listed above just in case Santa Clause doesn’t come to town.
